Ed Norton Makes Career-Ending Acting Choice

I'm gonna take this little tidbit of information with a ginormous glass of margarita salt but apparently Ed Norton, two-time Oscar nominee and star of every movie that was ever worth seeing, has signed on to play the Incredible Hulk in the upcoming sequel to the 2004 box office bomb "Hulk".

"Edward Norton is a rare talent and one of the most versatile actors in the business. His ability to transform into a particular role makes him the ideal choice to take on the character of Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Edward is perfectly suited to bring one of the most popular and important Marvel icons to the big screen in a new and exciting way," said Kevin Feige, President of Production, Marvel Studios.

If you are asking yourself how it is possible to make a sequel to a movie you didn't know existed in the first place, then you're probably smarter than Ed Norton.

X-Files Sequel Almost Sort-of Officially Confirmed

Ok, so...remember when I got all antsy because sources had unofficially confirmed a new X-files movie? Well, I am happy to say that the movie is possibly almost officially probably going to happen now that creator Chris Carter has settled his lawsuit with the Fox network.

As was mentioned not long ago, [Gillian] Anderson's X-Files co-star David Duchovny had let slip that there was talk of a new X-Files movie and that production would likely start in 2008.

"They're starting to talk about doing a feature again," Anderson confirms. "Every year or two they talk about it again, but it seems like it might be for real this time. Somehow it seems like somebody's really serious about it. I know that Chris' lawsuit with Fox is over, so maybe now it can be done."

Um, aside from the fact that they've been teasing me with the promise of this film for the past 5 years...I think it needs to be mentioned that this movie is probably the only thing that will prevent me from going into a year-long depression at the end of the Harry Potter series. So...umm....my sanity kind of depends on whether or not this movie is made. And that, my friends, is the picture of mental health and stability.
